How do I book a ride?

How do I get a price for a chauffeur from downtown Indianapolis to IND airport?

How does payment work?
Payment is due before the ride. For bigger or custom trips that need a split payment, call us before you book so we can set it up.

Do you handle airport pickups and flight delays?
Yes. When you book an airport ride we ask for your airline and flight number so we can track it. If your plans change, call or text us as soon as you can.

Hourly

Can I book a car by the hour?
Yes. Hourly is good for meetings, events, and trips with multiple stops. Enter your details and you’ll see the total price before you book.
Do you offer hourly chauffeur service?

Which vehicle is most popular?
The Cadillac XT6 is our most booked vehicle. Most customers choose the Cadillac XT6—it’s the best fit for airport rides, corporate travel, and everyday private trips. The Suburban is available if you need extra luggage space, and the Sprinter is for larger groups.

Yes. Every chauffeur is licensed, fully insured under commercial coverage, and background-checked. The full fleet carries commercial livery insurance. No rideshare-style workarounds.

Comparison

What's the difference between McSmith Elite and Uber Black or a taxi?
Uber Black and Lyft Lux are dispatcher apps. You get whoever shows up. We're a private chauffeur service: a licensed chauffeur, an all-black vehicle, in-airport meet-and-greet at baggage claim, flight tracking, commercial livery insurance, no surge pricing. Taxis are fine for short trips but don't offer pre-booked timelines, wedding-day planning, or corporate invoice billing.

Safety

How do you vet and train your chauffeurs?
Every chauffeur runs through a background check, a driving-history review, and a defensive-driving check ride before any paid trip. New chauffeurs do a minimum of 10 supervised rides on real bookings, including IND arrival lanes and corporate pickup protocols, before driving a paying passenger solo.

What's the largest group McSmith Elite can transport in one vehicle?
Up to 15 passengers in the Executive Sprinter. Executive captain seating, individual reading lights, and a dedicated luggage area. Best for weddings, corporate offsites, airport-team shuttles, and event-night transportation. Bigger groups split across a Sprinter plus a Suburban or XT6.

Do you handle wedding transportation in Indianapolis?
Yes. Wedding-day transportation is some of our most-booked work. We plan the timeline with you (bridal-party pickup, ceremony, photos, reception, end-of-night return) and the chauffeur sticks to it. What amenities are included in the vehicles?
Every cabin has chilled bottled water, USB-C and Lightning phone chargers, climate control, tinted rear windows, and a quiet, smoke-free interior. The Suburban adds tri-zone climate and reading lights at every seat. The Sprinter adds executive captain seating, overhead air at every row, and LED accent lighting on a dimmer.

Do you offer 24/7 and late-night pickups?
Yes. We run 24/7, including overnight, holidays, and same-day bookings. For pickups within the next 2 hours, call (317) 449-3852 directly. Those slots are confirmed by phone, not through the booking form.

Rentals

Do you offer Cadillac XT6 rentals in Indianapolis?
No, we don't do self-drive rentals. McSmith Elite is a chauffeur service. You ride, our driver drives. The Cadillac XT6 is our most-booked vehicle and comes with a licensed chauffeur, flight tracking, and full pickup-to-drop-off service. Need to drive yourself? Enterprise or Sixt at IND offer self-drive XT6 rentals. Want to ride in one with a professional behind the wheel? That's us.
Can I rent a Chevy Suburban in Indianapolis?
Not from us. McSmith Elite is a chauffeur service, not a vehicle-rental company. We operate the Chevy Suburban as our premium upgrade ride with a professional driver. If you want a self-drive Suburban for a road trip or moving day, Enterprise and Sixt at IND have them. If you want a Suburban with a licensed chauffeur for an airport run, a wedding, or a family pickup, that's what we do.
Do you rent Executive Sprinter vans in Indianapolis?
No, we don't rent vehicles without a chauffeur. McSmith Elite is a private chauffeur service. Our executive group transportation comes with a licensed chauffeur and is used for weddings, corporate offsites, airport groups, and event nights. For a self-drive Sprinter or cargo van, Enterprise Truck Rental and Sixt both operate near IND. For executive group transportation with a chauffeur, send us your trip details and we'll quote it the same day.
